As the leader of our team, I learned that it was difficult to manage a group, especially when there is tension between the members. I also learned that the more advanced we are, the more productive we are. I liked the spirit of the group while we were filming. To me, the challenge was to keep the team united. I had to sacrifice a part of my vacations and weekends to work on the robot at school.

During the project, I learned how to program with EasyC. I enjoyed designing the robot and the kiosk. I also enjoyed making the costumes. The challenge for me was to design the robot’s shooting system. I had to sacrifice a part of my vacations, my weekends, and some evenings after school to work on the project.

During the preparation for the contest, I’ve learned to divide the tasks and give them to other people instead of doing everything myself. I particularly enjoyed editing the video, making video effects and designing the website. My challenge was to follow the schedule as much as possible, while maintaining the highest standards. For that,I had to use a lot of my free time during the weekends, and late after school.

During the months of December and January, I learned that we worked faster when there are less people working on the same thing at the same time. I enjoyed the time we spent together with the team during the vacation to work on the project, even though I had to sacrifice some time off my jobs. I gave myself the challenge to try to achieve perfection in what I do for the team.

I learned that a proposed idea is always better when it is improved by the other members of the team. I really like the goal of this competition between schools, as well as the originality of the project. For me, the biggest challenge was to succeed in adding robotics to my already busy schedule. I;, unfortunately, had to miss some music practices to go work with the team.

I've learned a lot of things by joining the robotics team, like how to program with EasyC. I've learned several aspects about building a robot with the help of Olivier. Also, I met kind and devoted people who have welcomed me even if I did not really know a lot of things about robotics. The friendships and experiences I’ve experienced while making this project will always be with me.

I haven't learned much in the past few months, but I liked the team work. My goal, and I think the goal of pretty much everyone, was to respect the schedule since we were kind of last minute. Because of that, I had to work during the winter break.

I used to be in the school's music department, but I had to quit to focus on robotics. I learned to program in EasyC. One of the challenges I encountered, was to cut the base of the robot and I liked working on the programming challenge as well as help design the kiosk.

I learned that dividing the tasks is essential if we want to work faster. I enjoyed working with the team. A challenge I’ve encountered, was the calculations for the piston. I sacrificed a lot of my time during the vacations for this project.

I learned that we had to be very organised. I liked working on the video, even though I wasn’t there very often. As a matter of fact, the biggest challenge I faced was to be present to work on the project. I sacrificed my time by going to school during the vacations.

I learned that we should never give up. I liked the fact that everyone was good at something and my challenge was trusting the other members. I also had to sacrifice some work time for robotics.

As supervisors of the two Notre-Dame robotics teams, we noted lot of enthusiasm and motivation coming from the students who participate to the competition this year. We sincerely believe that the word that describes our teams the most is "autonomy". The aspect that they should improve, is their organisation.
